Winter sea

"Winter sea" is a novel on friendship. The narrative voice is that of Agnese: teacher, a shaky marriage, an eighteen year old daughter. Then there are true, successful journalist, and Carmen, actress lent to dubbing. They are close to fifty and are friends since the university. Now we find themselves passing together, in a house of a desolate Lido of the Romagna Riviera, the days preceding the New Year. The excuse is to console Carmen who took refuge there to reflect on her yet another sentimental defeat of her. In that semi-insert, cold place, between closed hotels and the winter sea of ​​Ruggeri's song, the three women strengthen their friendship, between liters pass, memories that emerge, confidences, regrets, loves who do not forget. But above all they laugh, or learn to do so, in an age when he becomes aware that youth moves away to pass quickly. A short vacation in which they will know more about themselves, and they will also have an opportunity to meet men who discount the same melancholy "out of season".
