The age of chaos. Travel to the great world disorder

Seen from the United States, Italy makes news because it is that small town where waves of desperate arrives, forced to cross the Mediterranean to escape to multiple devastations: the advance of the Islamic State, the civil wars, misery. Germany is a cheap giant from the feet of clay, overbeared and timid at the same time, unable to give Europe a new, strong and convincing project. NATO is rewarded to cope with Vladimir Putin, but Europeans have anything to think about: sons without work or underpaid, pension cuts, public services in decline, social insecurity. "My" America is not much better. After six years of growth, the majority continues to think that "the country is on the wrong road". Here too many young people, despite having better professional outlets than their peers in Europe, cannot aspire to parents' living standards. Weigh even the loss of a mission. The leader nation no longer believes an American pax in the world. In short, we are the first witnesses of an epochal event, the end of the dominion of the white man on the planet. The pendulum of history returns where we had left five centuries ago, when the world's barichenter was Candia, the richest and most advanced area, as well as more populous. But the pendulum of history is slow. We are still in one of those unstable and dangerous periods in which the ancient order is franing and of the new there is no trace.
