The male daughter

The story of a trip to China, towards the end of the 1990s, that strips and changes four lives told by four narrative voices.

Four points of view and their particularly convincing languages lead us in the storms of love, in betrayals, in the exterminations aided by ideological dogmas, in unexpected changes, in the unforeseen of every existence.

A vacation that looks conventional changes the lives of four people. On his return from a trip to China, Marino, a criminal entrepreneur, will return with a prize that resembles love for him. His wife Felicita will no longer be able to remain in boredom and lies, will cynically analyze his white marriage and with the resource of self-irony will choose to tell herself what she has become, what she no longer wants to be. Sergio, an inept and fascinating employee of the criminal entrepreneur, will discover that he knows how to fight for what he recognizes as his last love of flesh and mystery. A Chinese girl with no identity, who was not declared at the time of birth as about twenty-five million new-born compatriots, will choose not to be a victim of the politics of the only child and much more: as a martyr she will become a predator and will use without shame the body, the cultures, determination and any other adventure to save your life.
